59. Seth Joyner

Seth Joyner is one of the most beloved Eagles off all time, and though there are several Eagles who have worn the number 59 before him and after him, you can’t see that number without thinking about this monster who played the linebacker position.

He’d be effective in any NFL era.

58. Trent Cole

Like Joyner, Trent Cole would work in any NFL defensive scheme. If he doesn’t, you might just need to change your defensive scheme.

57. Chris Gocong

Chris Gocong wasn’t one of the best players in Eagles history by any means, but he beats out guys like Dannell Ellerbe (who had eight tackles as an Eagle) and Bill Cowher who no one ever associates with the team anyway.

Yes, you read that correctly youngsters. Bill Cowher played for the Eagles.

56. Byron Evans

Byron Evans isn’t always mentioned immediately when great Eagles players are brought up, but after playing 113 games with 91 starts and racking up 819 tackles (806 were solo), 3.5 sacks and 13 interceptions, maybe he should be. Heck, we could sign a petition for some Hall of Fame consideration.

Yes, you read that correctly. He made 806 solo tackles.

55. Brandon Graham

This one was a very tough decision. Mike Reichenbach made a name for himself in an Eagles jersey, but Brandon Graham owns the most famous strip-sack in the history of the franchise.
