54. Jeremiah Trotter

The ‘Axe Man’ Jeremiah Trotter played in three stints with the Eagles and is one of the most beloved ‘Birds’ of all time. Ask any Eagles fan, they’ll tell you the exact same thing.

53. Alex Wojciechowicz

‘Wojo’ is a two-time NFL Champion thanks to his two title runs with the 1948 and 1949 Eagles championship teams. Alex Wojciechowicz s a member of the NFL 1940s All-Decade Team, the Eagles Hall of Fame, and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

52. Barry Gardner

Barry Gardner didn’t become the player the Eagles thought he’d be after spending a second-round selection on him in 1999, but he was serviceable. He’s also the best Eagle to wear ’52’.

51. William Thomas

William Thomas ended his career with the Oakland Raiders, but make no mistake, we’re talking about a guy who’s an Eagle through and through. With ‘The Birds’, Thomas notched 720 tackles (595 were solo), 27 interceptions, and 33 sacks. He was voted to the Pro Bowl after the 1995 and 1996 seasons, making him the most successful Eagle to wear the number 51.
