There are a few theories that the Philadelphia Eagles should call Colin Kaepernick in for a workout. Here’s an argument to support and refute both ideas.
After everything we saw from the Philadelphia Eagles‘ quarterbacks in the first preseason game, there’s a little worry for the first time that we’ve seen this Summer. What if Carson Wentz gets hurt again. The luxury of having Nick Foles is gone. Here’s a theory that some of you would have never thought of a month ago. What if the Eagles brought Colin Kaepernick in for a workout?
That idea seems to be dominating a lot of discussions. The timing is definitely interesting as Kaepernick turned a few heads recently after posting footage of him working out on social media.
If you missed that one, it’s definitely worth checking out. Try this on for size.
Just like that, ‘Kap’ was back in the NFL discussion. His name came up in many of the sports shows. Then. he found his way onto the radar of Eagles fans and some of the media after they saw Nate Sudfeld go down with an injury in the first preseason game.
After that, they saw Cody Kessler complete three of six pass attempts for 12 yards and Clayton Thorson’s two-of-nine performance (one that included an ugly interception where no Eagles receiver was even in the vicinity). To be honest, hey might have called ‘Kap’ themselves if they had his number.
You’ve heard the rumors. You’ve seen what’s been said on television. Here’s an argument for and against the Eagles giving him a call.
