The cream is, slowly, starting to rise to the top now. We’re starting to get some clarity on the Philadelphia Eagles roster. Here are ten guys whose stock has fallen.

To some, ‘What have you done for me lately’ is a cool song by Janet Jackson. To others, it’s part of the makings of a cool business plan. Throw the Philadelphia Eagles and every other NFL team into the latter category.

Philly’s is a roster littered with former starters who are on the bubble, guys who have been on this team for a while who may not be here next week, and new faces that they hope will be around for a while. In each, there lies a dream of finding their way onto the Eagles’ final 53-man active roster.

While the rookies haven’t done much to prove themselves yet, some of their spots are assured. The same can be said for the guys at the top of the depth chart. For everyone else, training camp and the remaining preseason games are an opportunity to show they belong.

The first game is now a distant memory, but in the Eagles’ 27-10 loss to the Tennessee Titans, we’ve learned a lot. Some of the guys look like cream rising to the top of Philly’s crop while others have hurt their chances of making the roster. Here are a few sentences to describe the situation of everyone who falls into the category of the latter.
