1. Josh Hawkins

Josh Hawkins was closer to the bottom of Philly’s depth chart than he was to the top of it when the Summer began. Now, he’s hanging on to a slim chance of making this team after preseason game where he committed a couple of untimely penalties and gave up a touchdown where he looked lost on the play.

He’ll need three big preseason games to follow an ugly showing in the first. What’s unfortunate is he may not get a ton of playing time to prove himself.

2. Josh Adams

By the end of last season, Josh Adams had worked his way up to the top of the depth chart in Philly’s running backs room. Unfortunately, much of that was the result of injuries. This season, two of those guys who were injured are back, Darren Sproles and Corey Clement. Philly’s also added Jordan Howard and Miles Sanders.

Adams had an already steep hill to climb to make the Eagles’ roster. What’s worse is he’s slipped a little after a fumble in Week 1 of the preseason, and that was the same reason he lost some of the trust of the coaches in 2018-19’s season.
