The first impression Clayton Thorson would make on his Eagles teammates and fans left much to be desired.
To be truthful, he hasn’t been impressive at all. He completed two passes on nine attempts, three if you count the completion he threw to the wrong team. When the clock struck all zeroes, he had racked up a total of seven yards through the air.
At best, he’s probably a practice squad guy, and he’s going to have to improve by leaps and bounds if he’s even going to be that.
Here’s the verdict on Mr. Thorson. He possibly makes the final 53-man roster to start the regular season because Philly’s backup quarterback, Nate Sudfeld, is injured, but when Sudfeld returns it may be the end of the road for the former Northwestern signal-caller.
