Week 1:

Redskins at Eagles, Sunday, September 8th at 1 PM EST, Lincoln Financial Field

It won’t take long for the Eagles and Redskins to renew some old acquaintances as they’ll meet in the season opener. This one shapes up to be a nice springboard for Philly’s hope to make another Super Bowl run.

The Eagles are the better team. They’re the home team. They have a better roster. The Eagles also actually know who their quarterback is going to be. This one will be a slugfest, but when it’s all said and done. The Eagles are better right now than the Redskins are.

The scoreboard should reflect that at about 4 PM EST on that Sunday afternoon.

Prediction: Eagles 24, Redskins 16

Projected team records: Eagles (1-0), Cowboys (1-0), Redskins (0-1), Giants (0-1)

Projected divisional records: Eagles (1-0), Cowboys (1-0), Redskins (0-1), Giants (0-1)
