Week 2:

Cowboys at Redskins, Sunday, September 15th at 1 PM EST, FedExField

Here’s an obvious statement. These two teams will never like one another. Here’s another. It just seems like the Cowboys keep finding ways to break the hearts of the Redskins faithful. Recent history has also taught us something.

Dallas starts off hot and cools later on in the season. Washington starts slow, and they heat up later. That’s if they heat up at all. You’ll see the same formula repeat itself by both teams during the 2019 campaign. In this one, expect a back-and-forth affair where Dak Prescott shows some heroics late as ‘America’s Team’ will send the Redskins’ fans home frustrated again.

The Eagles will earn a victory over the Atlanta Falcons. The Giants should bounce back from an opening day loss with a victory over the Buffalo Bills.

Prediction: Cowboys 31, Redskins 28

Projected team records after Week 2: Eagles (2-0), Cowboys (2-0), Redskins (0-2), Giants (1-1)

Projected divisional records: Eagles (1-0), Cowboys (2-0), Redskins (0-2), Giants (0-1)
