Week 4:

Redskins at Giants, Sunday, September 29th at 1 PM EST, MetLife Stadium

Though most NFL pundits believe the Giants and Redskins are in a battle to stay out of the divisional cellar, neither team seems willing to wave any white flag. From what we’re hearing, both squads intend to show up and play their entire 16-game schedule. Both teams think they can make noise in 2019

Their first meeting with one another comes in Week 4. Both teams will enter with the hope of earning their first divisional win. In the end, Washington will earn it. They just have more difference makers in more important positions than the Giants do.

This one will be close, but the Redskins will make more big plays late. That will earn them the win in New York’s MetLife Stadium.

As far as divisional superiority goes, both the Eagles and Cowboys get their first losses of the season. The Lambeau Field mystique is too much for Philly to overcome in primetime, and Drew Brees and company take care of business against Jerry’s guys. That drops the divisional leaders, Philly and Dallas, to a 3-1 win-loss record on the year.

Prediction: Redskins 26, Giants 24

Projected team records after Week 4: Eagles (3-1), Cowboys (3-1), Redskins (1-3), Giants (2-2)

Projected divisional records: Eagles (1-0), Cowboys (2-0), Redskins (1-2), Giants (0-2)
