Tight Ends: (Zach Ertz)

Zach Ertz: (2018 Stats: 1,163 Rec Yds/8 TD’s)

What can be said about this man that hasn’t already been screamed from the mountain tops of Fantasy football for the past two years? Zach Ertz is a consensus TE1 with the upside of being the best Tight End in Fantasy football depending on the format your league plays in.

He’s a legitimate Top-40 pick in almost all drafts heading into the 2019 season, and (most importantly) he’s Carson Wentz’s first read on virtually every passing play the Eagles run.

The only caution that should be given concerning him when you’re heading into the new season is whether or not you shouldn’t expect a repeat performance of last season. Here’s the answer. You shouldn’t.

Ertz’s 2018 campaign was one for the history books; he usurped Jason Witten and captured sole possession of the NFL’s single-season reception record (116). That kind of historical performance will be almost impossible to reproduce with the number of other weapons around him, but Ertz could see a further uptick in his TD total given how often this team should be in the red zone. He’s a locked and loaded league leader at one of Fantasy football’s most shallow positions, and he’s set to have another great year. Get him on as many teams as you can.

2019 Projected Stats: (1,030 Rec Yds/10 TD’s)
