If you play EA Sports’ Madden game every now and again, it will make you wonder. What if real NFL games had a reset button? What if you could turn the injury feature off and just fast forward to the next game? To many Philadelphia Eagles fans, that would be a nice alternative to having to sit through a final preseason game.
Much of the roster is set. There are a few positions that require a final look so we can determine who makes the roster or who gets left behind. Philly’s got a few more things to iron out. So do the New York Jets.
The Eagles head to a familiar venue, one they visit once yearly, MetLife Stadium, but their opponent won’t be the usual team that they see, the rival New York Giants.
