With ten days separating us from the Philadelphia Eagles’ regular season, we remember ten amazing moments from ‘Number 10’, Philly’s DeSean Jackson.

For a place that’s been dubbed the ‘City of Brotherly Love’, Philly has moments where they may not always seem to be so brotherly. Then, there are moments when it’s obvious. Think about that Philadelphia Eagles victory parade for a second. Then, think of another. Think about the fact that, when DeSean Jackson returned to the place where his career began, it was Mack Hollins who was wearing the number 10.

To their credit, the Eagles residing in their current nest understand the history of this team and the city they play in. They understand how much winning that Super Bowl meant for their city. Then, you see things like Jason Peters wearing a Brian Dawkins jersey, Chris Long wearing an Allen Iverson jersey, and Jason Kelce wearing a mummer outfit to the victory parade, and you can’t do anything but smile.

These guys just get it. They’re respectful of the Eagles’ history. Their respectful of their city’s history. It’s almost like these guys grew up in Philadelphia and have been there for their entire lives.

It isn’t a coincidence that, when Jackson returned, Hollins gave up the number 10 jersey. It would have been ridiculous for him to wear another number. August 29th means two things for the Eagles. It’s the date of their final preseason game of 2019. It means ten days separate us from the start of the Eagles’ regular season.

With that being said, let’s look back on ten moments in Jackson’s career with Philly.
