The Philadelphia Eagles are set to take on the New York Jets for Preseason Week Four on Thursday night. Here are ten players to keep an eye on…

In roughly about two weeks, the Philadelphia Eagles will be gearing up for a regular-season battle against their NFC East rivals, the Washington Redskins. First, they have to get through the dreadful preseason week four matchup though against the usual suspects, the New York Jets.

Every year, the Eagles play the Jets for the final game of the preseason, and each time they compete, the crowd loses interest. It makes sense considering the backups and roster hopefuls are the only ones who are guaranteed to play.

Last week, the Eagles went with select starters to prepare for what is believed to be the ‘dress rehearsal’ around the NFL. However, week four is always the opposite. With 90 guys rostered, the Eagles have to make cuts down to a final 53-man squad by this weekend.

Final cuts are never easy, but because of them, it makes the final week of the NFL preseason much more crucial than fans expect. As so many players are fighting for a roster spot, this is the final showcase for them in 2019.

Some guys will make it. Others will get sent to the practice squad, and a good chunk will become unemployed. With the Jets matchup being so important for select players, we’ll highlight ten guys to keep an eye on for Thursday night’s game.
