Quarterback (3)

Carson Wentz, Josh McCown, Nate Sudfeld

Carson Wentz is entering his fourth season. He’s got his big contract extension, and he’s healthy. All eyes are going to be on him. Can he return to his 2017 form and get himself back in the MVP conversation? He’s certainly got the tools to do so and even though Foles is gone, another veteran. Josh McCown has been added just in case he can’t stay healthy.

Offensive Line (9)

Jason Peters, Isaac Seumalo, Jason Kelce, Brandon Brooks, Lane Johnson, Andre Dillard, Jordan Mailata, Halapoulivaati Vaitai, Matt Pryor

The offensive line is healthy with the exception of Brooks, who’s due to return week one. With the addition of Andre Dillard, the Eagles have found their left tackle of the future, and with the play of Halapoulivaati Vaitai at right guard, the Eagles, undoubtedly, have the deepest line in the NFL and legitimate trade bait (if that’s still in the thought process).

The Eagles may not keep Wisniewski because of his failure as a center, and because Philly frees up $1.58 million by cutting him or $1.83 million by trading him. Jeff Stoutland will probably want to keep Matt Pryor around, despite his struggles because it doesn’t appear the Eagles are quite ready to give up on him.
