Defensive Tackle (4)

Fletcher Cox, Malik Jackson, Timmy Jernigan, Hassan Ridgeway

The Eagles’ defensive tackle positioned transitioned from weak to deep in a hurry. Suddenly, the Eagles have three Pro Bowlers at the position, and the ability to rotate guys in and out and stay fresh will be invaluable and keep Fletcher Cox fresh for the end of the regular season and postseason.  Treyvon Hester deserves an honorable mention, but he’s probably not going to make the roster.

Linebacker (6)

Nigel Bradham, Kamu Grugier-Hill, L.J. Fort, Zach Brown, Nathan Gerry, T.J. Edwards

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, T.J. Edwards makes it in on this list. The Eagles’ second level of their defense will be an interesting watch all season. This unit looks as if they can be stronger than they were in 2018.

While Grugier-Hill is out, it would definitely be interesting to see if T.J. Edwards will get some quality snaps in the rotation and if he can make an impact and earn more. Alex Singleton has been impressive too and should have a place in the practice squad, but we’ll have to wait and see if the Eagles agree.
