The Philadelphia Eagles won’t stop adjusting a roster that now has 53 men. Here are ten ‘diamond in the rough’ NFL free agents who are interesting.

Just because the Philadelphia Eagles released their final, or one might say an initial, depth chart doesn’t mean that they’re done tweaking their roster. You can bet quite a few coins on that one. Placing teams in position to slim a roster from 90 to the league-mandated 53 players can make for some difficult decisions, and in some cases, it could force a few teams to make some choices they may not have made had they had more time.

Might we venture to say that Philly having two tight ends on the roster is evidence of that? We don’t really think they’re going to walk into Week 1 with two tight ends, do we? This might be an example of meeting deadlines and then, making changes later.

While there seems to be a need to add a third tight end to a rotation that includes Dallas Goedert and Zach Ertz, we may be able to gather something else. Maybe we’ll see Richard Rodgers activated from the IR later on in the regular season.

Still, until then, there’s a need to fill that hole, and that’s not all. Is it unfair to say that ‘The Birds’ may want some insurance at cornerback? What about the wide receiver position? If they could find a better option than Mack Hollins would they explore that? Sure, they’d lose him on special teams, but Dave Fipp and company will figure something out.

There are many questions, but here’s what we do know. Eagles vice president and general manager Howie Roseman doesn’t sleep when it comes to his roster. There are many capable NFL free agents who are currently looking for a job. Let’s discuss ten of them.
