6. Orlando Scandrick

We at ITI have no doubt that, at some point, we’ll see Orlando Scandrick again, possibly after Week 2 because signing him then will mean the Eagles won’t have to give him a full year’s salary. If Jalen Mills and Cre’Von LeBlanc will be available later in 2019, there won’t be a reason to do that.

7. Nico Siragusa, guard

Nico Siragusa was a First Team All-American in 2016 after a season of clearing holes for Donnel Pumphrey of all people. The Baltimore Ravens took him in Round 4 of 2017’s draft, 122nd overall. Since then, he’s been on three other rosters.

There’s no reason to even believe that he’s on Philly’s radar, but under Jeff Stoutland’s tutelage, he could be special. Matt Pryor‘s still on the team. Philly made a decent lineman out of a rugby star. Do we think he can’t get something great out of a former All American?

8. Dontae Johnson, cornerback

Dontae Johnson was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers under the Jim Harbaugh regime and survived three coaching changes there. 158 tackles, two interceptions, and 21 pass deflections later, he stands out slightly on a long list of cornerback names who are looking for jobs.

He could serve as a decent bandaid until Ronald Darby, Jalen Mills, or Cre’Von LeBlanc are ready to go.
