The Linebackers

OLB

1. Kamu Grugier-Hill

2. Nathan Gerry

Kamu Grugier-Hill was beginning to look like a legitimate starter for the Eagles. Unfortunately, he went down with a knee injury. Nathan Gerry remains on the team after a weak preseason, but it’s doubtful he actually picks up starters reps as the season progresses.

MLB

1. Nigel Bradham

2. T.J. Edwards

Nigel Bradham hasn’t really practiced all summer. Right now, it’s unclear if he’s even going to play this week. That’s something to keep an eye on surely. As for T.J. Edwards, the undrafted rookie had to make the final roster, or else he would’ve gotten claimed elsewhere. He probably won’t have much of a role to start, but later on, down the line, we could see the rookie get some action.

OLB

1. Zach Brown

2. L.J. Fort

Both Zach Brown and L.J. Fort are offseason acquisitions for the Eagles. Brown is a proven linebacker in the NFL so unsurprisingly, he will start in 2019. Fort has starting experience, but not nearly as much as Brown. Fort will be good for special teams and special packages on the Eagles defense. This isn’t their most talented group, but linebacker sure isn’t the question mark it used to be for the Eagles.
