7. Jonathan Allen, defensive end

In his first two NFL seasons, Jonathan Allen racked up 71 tackles and nine sacks. It doesn’t appear as though he’ll slow down anytime soon. We’ve known how good he was since his days with the Alabama Crimson Tide, and all the evidence seems to indicate that everything’s translated for him nicely.

Philly’s offensive line, that we’ve celebrated pretty much all Spring and Summer, gets a huge test early with this guy.

8. Ryan Kerrigan, outside linebacker (weakside linebacker)

Ryan Kerrigan is one of those guys that Eagles fans have nightmares about, him and Jason Witten. If Kerrigan ever leaves the NFC East, Eagles fans are going to have a party. The responsibility of keeping him off of Carson Wentz lies primarily with Lane Johnson. He gets paid like a left tackle, even though he plays on the right side of Philly’s O-line.

Guys like Kerrigan are a big reason why that’s the case. Those two will need some time in a tub of ice when this one is over.
