Los Angeles Rams at Carolina Panthers

Venue: Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, NC

Prediction: In one of the most anticipated games of the NFL’s opening weekend, the Carolina Panthers host last season’s NFC representative in the Super Bowl, the Los Angeles Rams. There won’t be any hangovers here as an angry Rams team begins their quest to get back to football’s ultimate game with a Week 1 win in Carolina.

Don’t expect the Panthers to roll over, but don’t expect them to win either. This one goes to L.A. in a close one.

Final score: L.A. 27, Carolina 24

Atlanta Falcons at Minnesota Vikings (Upset Alert)

Venue: U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, Minnesota

Prediction: In a shootout, the more talented team gets the win on the road. Matt Ryan is just better than Kirk Cousins is, and on Sunday, the underdog Atlanta Falcons get an edge on the Minnesota Vikings.

Final score: Atlanta 31, Minnesota 27

Washingon Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles

Venue: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia Eagles

Prediction: Here’s the game that most of you are interested in. It’s been said all week that the Eagles are a legitimate Super Bowl contender and the better team, and they are. It’s a divisional game, so it will be tight. Still, the Eagles will be the happier team at about 4:15 PM EST.

Final score: Washington 17, Philadelphia 27
