Zach Ertz, TE
This one was a bit confusing. Zach Ertz is easily one of the best tight ends in the league, and he is currently in his prime. However, Ertz just had a record-breaking season last year. It’s going to be hard to top that — especially with some new useful weapons around. A good season is in store for Ertz, but we’ll see if he beats last year’s effort for himself.
Nelson Agholor, WR
We’re on board with this one. With DeSean Jackson distracting the back end of the secondary, and Alshon Jeffery having all eyes on him as well, we understand that Nelson Agholor will draw more favorable matchups for himself. Remember his emergence in 2017 because defenses got caught up with Jeffery and Ertz? Well, now they have to get caught up with Jeffery, Ertz, and Jackson. Expect big things from Agholor for sure.
Carson Wentz, QB
Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz has a lot of weight on his shoulders right now after signing a big deal. His 2017 effort was hard to top last year. Especially since Wentz missed multiple games. This year, he’s fully healthy, and all distractions are pretty much out of the way. Many are calling for an MVP campaign, and it’s hard to assume that’s not brewing.
Dallas Goedert, TE
Dallas Goedert’s rookie season was nothing spectacular. However, he’s shown flashes that make some believe that one day this guy could end up having a better career than Ertz when it’s all said and done. With a year under his belt, Goedert should look much more improved in 2019.
