Tier 1 Candidates

Each player that received over three votes out of 35.

DeSean Jackson, WR

He’s back! Despite being one of the older players on the team, DeSean Jackson still has some of his youth. In fact, many believe that he is just as fast as he was during his first stint with the Eagles. We’ll find out soon enough. This year, Jackson is primed for a big season as he’s built up quite the connection with Eagles quarterback, Carson Wentz. It will be exciting to see that duo grow over the course of the 2019 season.

Miles Sanders, RB

And the winner is — rookie running back Miles Sanders. Out of 35 votes, Miles Sanders crushed it with seven total — more than anybody else. He’s not first on the depth chart, but there’s a reason to believe he will eventually earn that spot soon enough. Sanders is the real deal, and the Eagles are excited to unleash him this season as Doug Pederson refuses to restrict him at all. Sanders will become the first true franchise rusher since the Shady McCoy era.
