Though they’re expecting to come out on top, the Philadelphia Eagles have some legitimate concerns heading into Week 1 of the NFL season.

So, how does it feel? It’s been a long time since the 2018-19 season ended in New Orleans for the Philadelphia Eagles. Here we are, not even nine months after that day sent us all to bed unhappy, and we can say with confidence that we made it. It was a cold winter. That led to Spring, the NFL Draft, and a nice Summer.

Then, after flirting with the NBA and MLB for a while, our true love returned. Sure, baseball is America’s national pastime, but football is our great country’s passion. We don’t mean futbol either. Soccer is cool and all, but football is played with an oblong ball made of pigskin. Football is played with a helmet and shoulder pads.

Football is why many of us will go to church during the early service so we can get home early enough to be in front of our televisions for the 1 PM kickoffs.

The Eagles get their division rivals, the Washington Redskins, in Week 1. This is a game that they should win, but there are some legitimate concerns about this one. Here are five.
