5. Will fatigue play a role in the secondary by the time the fourth quarter rolls around?

Ronald Darby is active, and like Cox, we didn’t know that until game one was on the horizon. His counterpart, Sidney Jones, has been hurt for most of his NFL career but looks good now. The only other cornerbacks that Philly will have available for this one, with both Jalen Mills and Cre’Von LeBlanc hurt, are Avonte Maddox and Rasul Douglas.

All can play, but there are only four of them. What if somebody gets hurt? What if the Redskins can sustain a few drives and fatigue becomes a part of the conversation in the fourth quarter? Every time Jones or Darby are on the turf, every Eagles fan will watch with bated breath to see how quickly they pick themselves up off of the turf.

Eagles fans, keep your fingers crossed and hope Philly gets out of this one in one piece.

Bonus: How will the rookies perform on offense?

Andre Dillard, Miles Sanders, and JJ Arcega-Whiteside were all wins in the draft. Eagles head coach Doug Pederson has said he will turn Sanders and Arcega-Whiteside loose. What type of results will that produce? We won’t have to wait much longer to find out.
