Tom Brady, New England Patriots

team. 47. . Week 1 (Won) Pats 33, Steelers 3. . Tom Brady.

Why do we keep calling the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers a ‘rivalry’? Doesn’t the word ‘rivalry’ imply the other team wins sometimes? The Patriots own the Steelers. Ben Roethlisberger is an obvious future Hall of Famer, and he’s not even in Brady’s class.

Mike Tomlin is a good head coach, not a great one but he’s good. He’s also not in Bill Belichick‘s class. The New England Patriots lost Rob Gronkowski, and they might even be better a season later without him.

Brady is like Michael Jordan. He makes the guys around him better. Look no further than Danny Amendola. He looks pretty average now with Matthew Stafford throwing him the ball, doesn’t he? Brady has an embarrassment of riches at the skill positions, and get this. Antonio Brown is on his way.

As long as he’s playing and as long as the NFL has an MVP trophy, Tom Brady will have a shot at winning it. The last time he got one of the best receivers in the game, he went 16-0 and set the NFL single-season touchdown record at the time. Like it or not you Brady haters, ’12’ is back in the discussion again.
