Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys

. Week 1 (Won) Cowboys 35, Giants 17. . Dak Prescott. . team. 123

As long as he’s with the Dallas Cowboys, there’s a certain level of attention that’s going to follow Dak Prescott around. If you allow yourself to understand that, you’ll live a much happier life once you realize that’s just the way things go. There’s a different type of attention that the Cowboys are just privy to.

Knowing that will help you understand that Prescott will always be under a league-wide microscope. No, he wouldn’t be talked about as often if he played in a smaller market or franchise like the Jags, but make no mistake. Prescott can play. He doesn’t possess the same physical gifts as say Aaron Rodgers of Carson Wentz, but he is a baller.

Playing with the star on his helmet is enough to catapult him into the NFL MVP conversation if he’s winning. Seeing him win and seeing him be as efficient as he was (even if he was playing the lowly New York Giants) should show you, whether you love the Cowboys or hate them, Mr. Prescott needs to be given some serious early-season consideration after Week 1.
