Love them or hate them, the Dallas Cowboys looked pretty impressive in Week 1. Now, some of that may be due to playing an inferior opponent. Some of that may be due to the fact that, whether we want to give them credit or not, they have a great young nucleus of players on both sides of the ball.

They’ve got everything but the coach, and as long as Jason Garrett is around, it just feels like they’re never going to reach their full potential.

Had the Houston Texans not decided to give Brees a 30-yards cushion with the game on the line, they might have walked out of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome with a win, and we’d be talking about the upset and how great they looked in pulling it off.

Still, despite losing in Week 1, they earn a spot on this power ranking and quite a few others. Seriously, they lost to the Saints in New Orleans. Is there any shame in that?
