How good is Anthony Lynn really? Until we see the Los Angeles Chargers play the Chiefs twice and we see the results of those games, we won’t really have an answer for that. Until then, here’s a little inventory.

They have a Hall-of-Fame quarterback, Philip Rivers. They seem to have a decent running game even without Melvin Gordon. We know they can play on defense. Now, we just need a larger sample size of Lynn. If the Chargers have to beat the Patriots in a playoff game, can he do that?

Had the Baltimore Ravens done what they did to anyone other than the Miami Dolphins, we might all be venturing into overreaction.

Honorable mention: Green Bay Packers

Don’t look now, but Aaron Rodgers doesn’t have to do everything. The Green Bay Packers have a defense. Rodgers and the offense stunk it up on the NFL’s opening night, and ‘The Pack’ won anyway. Now, when was the last time you said that or thought that you would?

No one really knows what to make of Green Bay yet, but everyone should be able to agree on this. If the defense can sustain what we saw in Week 1 and Rodgers begins to look like Rodgers again, ‘The Pack’ could be scary good in 2019. Do you know how hard it was to put the Vikings on the list over them?
