Here are 10 Atlanta Falcons to pay attention to when the Philadelphia Eagles meet them on Sunday Night Football. This is a big early-season game for both sides.

All of a sudden, it just feels like the Atlanta Falcons moved to the NFC East, and now, they’re a divisional rival. For what feels like the ninth season in a row, the Philadelphia Eagles meet Matt Ryan and company. There’s a twist in this one though.

This time, the Eagles go to Atlanta, where, traditionally, they have struggled. They’ve lost games there with Andy Reid and Chip Kelly. At this point in his young NFL coaching career, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson hasn’t walked off of the field after being on the wrong end of the score, but that could change on Sunday.

The Falcons can’t afford to go 0-2 in the NFC South. The Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have all put a game in the win column, and posting a second loss in two games would put Atlanta in a tough early-season hole with both of their losses coming at the hands of an opponent from the NFC.

This is an important one early as the outcome of this one will, no doubt, factor into the NFC Playoff conversation later. You know Matt Ryan. You know the game’s best wide receiver, Julio Jones. Here are a few of the other guys that you may or may not know, but if you love the Eagles, you may want to pay them some attention.
