Upset Alert: Seattle Seahawks (1-0) at Pittsburgh Steelers (0-1)

Venue and weather: Heinz Field, Mostly Sunny, 77°F at kickoff

Prediction: Could the Pittsburgh Steelers actually go 0-2 after going 9-6-1 and missing the playoffs in 2018? They absolutely can. They’ll be better than they were in Week 1. You can count on that, but the Seattle Seahawks, at this point in both teams’ development, may actually be the better team.

Russell Wilson and Pete Carroll aren’t going to be mistaken for being strangers to any big game either. The ‘Hawks steal one at Heinz Field on Sunday. Final score: Seahawks 27, Steelers 24

Los Angeles Chargers (1-0) at Detroit Lions (0-0-1)

Venue and weather: Ford Field (Indoors)

Prediction: The Los Angeles Chargers have a better coach. The Chargers are the better team. The Chargers have a better quarterback. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Matthew Stafford just won’t go away, but regardless of how many career passing yards and touchdowns he racks up, he’s never going to win anything important.

What’s worse is it seems as though he’ll never lead the Detroit Lions to the playoffs again. It’s doubtful that the Lions will bounce back after an emotional loss that they suffered just seven days prior. Final score: Chargers 31, Lions 16
