Kansas City Chiefs (1-0) at Oakland Raiders (1-0)

Venue and weather: RingCentral Coliseum, Mostly Cloudy, 69°F at kickoff

Prediction: You have to give credit where it’s due, and here it is. The Oakland Raiders looked good in Week 1. So did the Kansas City Chiefs, but as good as both teams looked and as much as everyone would like to see this rivalry mean something again, Oakland can’t score with Kansas City, even if Tyreek Hill is out.

The Chiefs win this one, and there’s nothing the Raiders or ‘The Black Hole’ can do to stop it. Final score: Chiefs 38, Raiders 24

New Orleans Saints (1-0) at Los Angeles Rams (1-0)

Venue and weather: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Mostly Cloudy, 86°F at kickoff

Prediction: Any time these two are brought up, we almost always bring up the pass interference call that wasn’t called. Yes, it was pass interference. We all know that. It was such an egregious error that there was a rule change in the offseason. Here’s something that needs to be said though.

Brace yourselves if you’re a part of the New Orleans Saints fan base. The better team won. The Los Angeles Rams deserved to be in the Super Bowl, and they’re still the better team now. On Sunday, they’ll prove that again. The Saints have the edge at quarterback. The Rams may have the edge everywhere else. Final score: Saints 27, Rams 31

Upset Alert: Chicago Bears (0-1) at Denver Broncos (0-1)

Venue and weather: Empower Field at Mile High, Partly Sunny, 90°F at kickoff

Prediction: Let’s make this short and sweet. On opening night, the Chicago Bears defense played well enough to help their team win, and the offense let them down. On Sunday, the Bears defense will play well enough to help their team beat the Denver Broncos, and the offense will let them down again. Final score: Bears 13, Broncos 19
