1. Carson Wentz, QB

Let’s get this one out of the way. How could Carson Wentz NOT be a key player for Sunday’s game? After all, he does run the offense. For the first time since 2017, Wentz began the season as the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fortunately, he’s fully healthy and man, did he look good last week. Granted, the Eagles did get a slow start on offense for most of the first half. After that, though, they never looked back. Doug Pederson threw out the conservative playbook, got aggressive. That helped Wentz make magic.

Suddenly, the doubters from last December and beyond kept quiet as Wentz tossed three touchdowns and threw for over 300 yards without a single turnover. We don’t want to speak to early, but No. 11 looked like he could be campaigning for another MVP caliber season. Now, he just has to prove he can play like that under the bright lights in a hostile environment as the enemy.
