After a tough loss to the Atlanta Falcons, where do we rank the Philadelphia Eagles in the list of the NFL’s top ten teams? Do ‘The Birds’ even qualify?

Two weeks are gone in the 2019 NFL season. Dang. The playoffs will be here before you know it. The Philadelphia Eagles sit at 1-1 after two weeks hopefully with the knowledge of something that the rest of us have been saying since Sunday night.

It’s hard to use the phrase ‘a good loss’, but if you were going to do so, seeing what the Eagles did in their first primetime game of 2019 allows you the opportunity to state that there were positives in being on the wrong end of a 24-20 final score.

The Eagles weren’t going to go 16-0. They went on the road, and in a hostile environment, they overcame being shorthanded and a slow start to put themselves in a position to win a game that seemed like it was over at least twice before it actually was.

Yes, they lost, but they learned. Most importantly, they showed some moxie. They went down swinging. If you’re going to lose, that’s what you want it to look like. How does that affect them in this Week’s Power Rankings? Well, you don’t have to wait to find out. Click to continue.
