Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson seems a bit fed up with the Carson Wentz injury questions.

The Philadelphia Eagles base has trust issues when it comes to quarterback, Carson Wentz. It’s hard to blame them, quite frankly considering that Wentz has two season-ending injuries over the last two years. And the latest one he suffered ended up coming about two months before he was even diagnosed and shut down for the rest of the year.

We get it — Carson Wentz gets injured. Unfortunately, it happened often as of late. But Eagles’ head coach Doug Pederson is just about sick of the nonstop questions regarding Wentz’s health for no apparent reason. Sure, he got called to the medical tent this past Sunday night to get tested for a concussion, but a few plays later he was cleared to return.

Wentz would go on to finish the night against the Atlanta Falcons and made it off the field injury-free. Yet, the head coach is still receiving questions regarding Wentz’s health during his press conferences because — well, because why not?

Doug Pederson assures everybody Wentz is fine

“Would Carson practice today if you had a practice?” A reporter asked as Pederson fielded his weekly questions on Wednesday morning. “Carson?!” Pederson responded in a confused, yet frustrated tone. “Yeah, he’s fine.”

At this point, the questions regarding Wentz’s health have given Pederson a bit of a headache considering all that he’s had to deal with over the last year or so. So far, Wentz has been able to stay healthy through the first two weeks, minus the couple of plays he missed on Sunday.

Can he keep up and remain healthy? That remains to be seen. But so far, Wentz has maintained to stay on the field and keep fighting. He might not have turned in his best performance against the Atlanta Falcons, but his fourth-quarter performance was promising. We’ll see what he has to offer this week as the team plays Detroit while short-handed.
