Steven Mullenax covers the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys for FanSided, and recently he gave ITI a lot of good info that Philadelphia Eagles fans will find interesting.

Two games are gone. 14 remain in the 2019 NFL regular season for the Philadelphia Eagles. After a loss in a game that wasn’t going to surprise anyone if Philly came out on the wrong end of the score, there are both positives and negatives to discuss.

Here’s what we like. After a slow start on Sunday Night Football, an undermanned Eagles team fought their tails off versus the Atlanta Falcons and almost snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. They showed heart. If you’re going to lose, that’s what you want it to look like.

Here’s what no one likes. This team has shown some wild inconsistency. They shouldn’t have to wait on halftime and a deficit on the scoreboard to start playing like the Eagles that their fans have grown to know and love.

This week, they return home to face the Detroit Lions in a game they should win. In preparation for that one, we sat down with Steven Mullenax. He’s the site expert at both The Landry Hat and Sidelion Report. That’s FanSided‘s websites dedicated to exclusive Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions content. He’s also a member of FanSided’s Hall of fame and the Pro Football Writers of America.

We asked him everything we could think of concerning Sunday’s upcoming game. What follows is some of the results of that conversation.
