Devon Kennard, linebacker

Devon Kennard‘s NFL career is off to a nice start. Eagles fans are already familiar with him. His first four seasons were spent with the New York Giants. His last two led him to the Lions. It’s been more of the same familiar formula there.

He’s racked up some tackles (55 of them in 17 games, ten sacks, and twelve tackles that have resulted in a loss. You can bet a dollar or two that his name has come up in the offensive meetings at the Novacare Complex.

Darius Slay, cornerback

Here’s one of those Lions who need no introduction. Darius Slay is a household name if you’re an NFL fan. He’s one of the reasons the rest of the football world can deem Lions games as watchable.

For his career, he’s notched 307 tackles, 18 interceptions, and 94 passes defended, and he’s done it all in a Lions’ jersey. On Sunday, he shares the duty of limiting Arcega-Whiteside, Hollins, and Agholor with Justin Coleman.
