Danny Amendola, wide receiver

After a brief stint with the Dallas Cowboys in his rookie season and with the Eagles in his second, Danny Amendola has carved out a decent career for himself. Eagles fans have kept up with him and watched most of it from a distance. Still, stops with what was once the Saint Louis Rams (2009-2012), with the New England Patriots (2013-2017), and with the Miami Dolphins in 2018 have led him to Detroit.

On Sunday, he faces one of his former teams, and he could play a big role in how that one turns out.

Matthew Stafford, quarterback

11 years in Detroit haven’t quite produced the results that Matthew Stafford would have hoped for, but for the most part, he’s done just about as well there as any quarterback in a bad situation could have done.

One thing that he can lay claim to is two straight victories over the Eagles. Every ‘Birds’ fan would hope that Sunday doesn’t produce a third.
