Cincinnati Bengals at Buffalo Bills

Venue and weather: New Era Field, Mostly Sunny, 84°F at kickoff

Prediction: The Cincinnati Bengals are confusing. Everything states that they should be better than they are. They just never seem to get it done.  On the other hand, everything suggests that the Buffalo Bills should be a team that’s competitive, just not one that’s 2-0 after two weeks.

No one cares who they’ve beaten. They’ve beaten NFL teams. On Sunday, they beat another. Say it with us, the 3-0 Buffalo Bills. Final Score: Bengals 16, Bills 24

Detroit Lions at Philadelphia Eagles

Venue and weather: Lincoln Financial Field, Sunny, 84°F at kickoff

Prediction: Sure, the Eagles are injured, battered, dismissed to some extent, and inconsistent, but here’s the thing. The Eagles are at home, and it doesn’t matter who’s hurt. This team is deeper and more talented than the Lions are.

The Atlanta loss was tough, but that can be explained. There’s no excuse for the Eagles to go 1-2 after this one. Final Score: Lions 20, Eagles 27
