The Philadelphia Eagles needed to bounce back against the Detroit Lions, and they failed to do so. Which players stood out in the loss at home?

So many players deserve to get pointed at for blame after Sunday’s matchup. The Philadelphia Eagles hosted the Detroit Lions at home in what was supposed to be a bounce-back game so the Eagles could regain their confidence with a 2-1 record.

Instead, they took another disappointing loss to an NFC team, who they should’ve been able to beat with ease. Are the Lions a lousy football team? Not exactly. In fact, they are solid and have a winning record currently. However, the Eagles were supposed to be a Super Bowl-caliber squad.

Granted, they do have injuries — but that doesn’t change the fact that a lot of their healthy key players failed to step up and meet expectations when they were needed the most. We still have to give credit where its due though. Some players did come out and put on a solid effort.

But the Eagles have a good chunk of players who have tons of work to do in such a small period of time before the Thursday Night Football matchup. So which three Philadelphia Eagles players who stood out for the worse and have work to do before the next game in a few days?
