This just in. The New York Giants are tied with the Eagles for second place in the NFC East. Sometimes, you just need a new voice to listen to. Andy Reid was a great coach for the Eagles, but eventually, there came a time when there was a need to have another voice in the locker room.

The Giants have reached that point now with Eli Manning. The two-time Super Bowl winner has seen his era come to an end in New York. What came next was something that we all saw as a possibility even if we weren’t sure that its’ manifestation would come to pass.

The rookie quarterback, Daniel Jones, walked into the huddle, and the Giants looked better than they’ve looked in years. ‘Big Blue’ may have found their franchise signal-caller.

Now, everyone needs to calm down. It is the Giants, and they beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Sure, Tampa would have won had there not been another missed field goal, but if the teams on Dallas’ schedule have no bearing on their hype machine, everyone should give the ‘G-Men’ some love too this week. New York got their first win of the season, and by the looks of things, they’re fully capable of tacking on a few more. That’s more than we can say for the ‘Skins.
