Minnesota Vikings (2 – 1) at Chicago Bears (2 – 1)

(Upset Alert)

Venue and weather: Soldier Field, Sunny, 80°F at kickoff

Prediction: Overreaction is the word that comes to mind. There’s a bit of a buzz building because the Chicago Bears did what they’re supposed to do. They took care of business against a wounded Redskins team. Next on their schedule is their divisional rivals, the Minnesota Vikings.

Here’s the skinny. Both teams feature excellent defenses. The Bears’ is better, but in the end, the Vikings can score, and Chicago can’t. Don’t let a three-touchdown performance by Mitchell Trubisky fool you. Every team has thrown for three touchdowns on the Redskins. Final Score: Vikings 24, Bears 17

Seattle Seahawks (2 – 1) at Arizona Cardinals (0 – 2 – 1)

Venue and weather: State Farm Stadium, Mostly Sunny, 83°F at kickoff

Prediction: There’s no nice way to say this. It’s difficult to explain why the Arizona Cardinals shipped off Steve Wilkes and Josh Rosen without even seeing whether or not the arrangement would work.

Sure, everybody gets it as a concept. Kliff Kingsbury was hired, and he wanted his quarterback. he had no ties to Rosen, but here’s where things get weird. Kingsbury was no sure thing either after being fired from a college program, Texas Tech, and there were no guarantees that Kyler Murray would work out either. That’s neither here nor there now.

The Cardinals have made their decision, and Kingsbury and Murray have been given their era. This game will give us more of what we’ve already seen from the Cards in 2019, an entertaining game that they’ll end up losing to the Seattle SeahawksFinal Score: ‘Hawks 27, Cards 20
