ITI: Who are the guys that don’t get the national attention that Eagles fans need to know?

Boston: First-round draft pick Darnell Savage is off to a great start as a rookie, and it’s only a matter of time before he gets the national attention. The Packers traded up to draft him in the first round back in April, and so far he’s made that look like it was a great move.

Savage reads the game quickly, and he plays fast. He’s made 14 tackles. That’s the fifth-highest total on the entire team. Add that to three passes that he’s defended. That’s the second-most on the team. Last week, he hauled in his first interception in the NFL as well.

Another player to watch is tight end Robert Tonyan. Jimmy Graham isn’t one-hundred percent healthy and is trying to battle his way back from injury. With that being said, Tonyan could see increased playing time moving forward.

Make sure you pay attention to both of them if you’re an Eagles fan.
