Philadelphia Eagles: A Green Bay Packers expert shares their biggest weakness
ITI: Okay, with all of that being said about the defense, what about the offensive side of the ball? What would you say is the biggest strength and weakness there?
Offensively, the Packers’ biggest strength is the Aaron Rodgers-to-Davante Adams connection. When these two are on the same page, there are not a lot of options for the opposing defenses to stop them.
Coincidentally, one of Adams’ finest performances came against the Eagles in 2016, when he caught five passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns. The biggest weakness so far has been converting on third down attempts.
They’ve only converted 25 percent of their third downs so far in 2019, according to Team Rankings. It was an issue last season, and it’s something they need to improve on quickly this season as well.
ITI: What’s your prediction for how this one plays out?
Forget the Eagles’ record, this will be a tough game for the Packers. Philly will arrive at Lambeau Field ready to play, and they have the talent to win at home or away against just about any team in the NFL.
Even with that being said, it’s hard not to be impressed with the way the Packers have played so far this season, particularly on defense. They’ve found ways to win games. The short week is also an advantage for the home team. It will be a close game, but I’ve got the Packers edging this one out by a score of 23-20.
