Philadelphia Eagles 2019 schedule: 10 Packers who can wreck Week 4
1. Marcedes Lewis, tight end
Marcedes Lewis is the guy Aaron Rodgers will rely on at tight end while ‘The Pack’ waits on Jimmy Graham to return to one-hundred percent. He’s racked up a total of three receptions so far in 2019, but make no mistake about it. He’s not a guy that the Eagles want to lose track of.
In 2010, he was a Second-Team All-Pro that made the Pro Bowl. Nine years later, he may not be the Packers’ first option at tight end, but the ‘Birds’ will need to know where he is when he’s on the field. He figures to keep Kamu Grugier-Hill, the other linebackers, and the safeties busy.
2. Darnell Savage, safety
‘The Pack’ took Darnell Savage in the first round, 21st-overall, out of the University of Maryland. So far, that’s been a move that appears as though it’s going to work out well long term.
Savage has already started all three games in this young season, and he’s contributed to Green Bay’s cause nicely with 14 total tackles (13 have been of the solo variety) and an interception. They’ve most certainly talked about him a lot in the Eagles coach’s meetings.
