Paulson Adebo, Stanford Cardinal

The Eagles dipped in the Stanford Cardinal’s pool before, and they wound up with a potential Hall of Famer in tight end Zach Ertz. If they’re looking for a cover guy who can do anything, Paulson Adebo might be the way to go.

He’s six-foot-one. He tips the scales at 190 pounds. After collecting 64 total tackles (46 were solo) and four interceptions in 2018, Adebo notched another 18 tackles and a pick over the first month of the 2019 season. This figures to be another nice campaign for him. Stay tuned.

 Jaylon Johnson, Utah Utes

It’s hard to imagine that anyone’s watching a ton of Utah Utes football unless they’re an alum or a fan of the program. This year’s version of the program may change a few minds on that subject. Currently, the Utes are ranked 19th and they boast a 3-1 record.

Their quarterback, Tyler Huntley, has a lot to do with that. As does a very capable defense that features the likes of Jaylon Johnson on the outside. In 2018, he racked up 41 tackles and four interceptions. He’ll have a lot of eyes on him in 2018 as well.
