3. Neville Hewitt, linebacker
One of the other Jets with an interception on his 2019 regular-season resume is linebacker Neville Hewitt. He’s second on the team in terms of tackles (20 total with 12 of the solo variety). He’s also the team leader in sacks. He has two of those.
Carson Wentz will want to avoid throwing late across the middle of the field with Hewitt lurking around. He’ll also want to make sure he slides if he takes off and scrambles. Hewitt can wreck an offensive gameplan in several different ways.
4. Brian Poole, cornerback
Brian Poole is one of those names you recognize even if you haven’t witnessed one second of Jets football in 2019. This is his first year in New York after making a name for himself in Atlanta with the Falcons.
So far in 2019, Poole has one start in the three games he’s played in, and he’s contributed to the Jets cause with 16 total tackles (13 were solo). He’s even registred a safety as he has one tackle for a loss.
