The Philadelphia Eagles win a game they were supposed to lose. The Cowboys lose a game they were supposed to win. Who’s number one in the Week 5 NFC East Power rankings?

The emotional roller coaster that we more often refer to as the Philadelphia Eagles 2019 regular season rolls on. Ladies and gentlemen, this is exactly why you needn’t get too high after an Eagles win or too low after a loss. One week after Philly dropped their second consecutive loss of the season (like Nelson Agholor and JJ Arcega-Whiteside were dropping passes), Philly marched into Lambeau Field on a short week and took care of business versus the Green Bay Packers.

Okay, maybe we should stop making jokes about incomplete passes and fumbles. At this point, they’ve all gotten to be pretty stale, don’t you think?

Moving along, three nights after Philly played what was arguably their best game of the season, the Dallas Cowboys proved, once and for all, that ineffective play happens in the NFL. It’s amazing what happens when you go on the road and play a good team in professional football.

See how that works Cowboy fans?

In the end, the long and the short of it is this. The Eagles won a game they were supposed to lose. Dallas lost a game that they were favored to win. How will that affect this week’s NFC East Power Rankings? You don’t have to wait to find out. The answers lie ahead.
