Sometimes, you just need a new voice in the huddle. For all intents and purposes, Daniel Jones has proven why the New York Giants elected to go with him in the most recent NFL Draft.

The moment never looks too big, and the Giants, even without Saquon Barkley, look ten times better on offense with him at the helm. We apologize to all the Eli Manning enthusiast out there, but it’s the truth. It was time for the ‘G Men’ to move on, and luckily for them, they figured that out before the season was entirely over.

We’ve seen how Jones handles success. Now, we’ll want to see how he handles failure because failure will come. The lights shine bright in New York, and there are cameras and media and paparazzi at every turn. ‘Big Blue’ has a signal-caller who can handle all of that, and he’s led his team to two wins in two professional starts.

The most recent came as the Giants disposed of a longtime foe who is, once again, in the cellar in the NFC East Power Ranking. Why? It’s simple. Their 0-4 record and their losses to every other team in the division is evident that they’re the NFC East’s worst team.

There’s one squad remaining, and you all know who it is.
