Here’s a prediction on the Philadelphia Eagles game and every other NFL game on the Week 5 slate.

If you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan, this is the best that you’ve felt since September 8th. Consecutive losses versus the Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions followed a below-average showing at home versus their division rivals, the Washington Redskins. It’s often erroneous to call the fourth game of the season a ‘must-win’, but for the Eagles it was. Fans are relieved now, thanks to Philly’s most impressive performance of the season, and now, they head home to take on a struggling New York Jets team.

They’ll need this one as well as they’re attempting to keep pace with the Dallas Cowboys, but that’s not all. The New York Giants seem to be playing inspired football now that their rookie quarterback Daniel Jones has been given the nod.

Every team in the NFC East has a home date this week, but after seeing so many road teams win during the fourth week of the NFL season, that may not matter much.

15 games are featured in Week 5’s slate of games. As always, it begins on Thursday Night Football. That game is an NFC West clash that will pay dividends later for two teams with playoff aspirations, the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks. We forecast that one and every other game in another edition of ‘Crystal Ball’. Let’s begin.
