Minnesota Vikings (2-2) at New York Giants (2-2)

Venue and weather: MetLife Stadium, Cloudy, 69°F at kickoff

Prediction: Ladies and gentlemen, if Kirk Cousins can’t lead a Minnesota Vikings team with two of the game’s best receivers and one of the game’s best running backs into MetLife Stadium and vanquish an inferior opponent in the New York Giants, everyone needs to place the conversations about Kirk Cousins being ‘elite’ out to pasture permanently.

Most of us with a high football IQ have known what Cousins was for a while. For everyone else, here’s the situation. If Cousins’ team loses to Daniel Jones and the Giants on Sunday, with that defense, then, the truth is this. Cousins isn’t even above average. Final Score: Vikings 31, Giants 20

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-2) at New Orleans Saints (3-1)

Venue and weather: Mercedes-Benz Superdome, (indoors)

Prediction: Sometimes, all it takes is a coach to turn things around. Look at what’s happened. Tampa Bay Buccaneers signal-caller Jameis Winston gets Bruce Arians, and all of a sudden, he can play. Teddy Bridgewater has never had to worry about being seen as anything but a natural thrower of the football, and he should continue to win for Sean Payton and the New Orleans Saints.

This game means more than we thought it would a couple of weeks ago. The Saints and Buccaneers have high hopes and a legitimate shot at making 2019 a special season, but the Saints will prevail in this one. Final Score: Bucs 17, Saints 23
